This work is a sequel to “Dawn Dreams”. When I wanted to paint another motif of a tree hosting sleeping birds, the image of birds spreading their white wings and taking flight came to mind. Perhaps subconsciously, I superimposed the image of our present moment, when we are finally bathed in the morning sunlight after a long night. The sleeping birds on the right side of the image are cold, while the left side of the image is warmer in color.
